The building freeze for ten urbanisations and projects on Mallorca and Ibiza, which was issued in the years 2007 and 2008 by the Socialists and the UM run state government, are now reversed. An area of 1,500 hectares was affected. The aggrieved owners and developers have sued the state government for damage claims of almost € 1 billion; first judgments in favor of the owners are already proclaimed. The new government wants to take back these measures now.
